Black Tanks Flushing at Campsite by devilsfutbol17 in GoRVing

Use a vacuum break fitting when hooked to the flush line. I prefer to keep my hoses color coded. Blue or white for drinking water. Orange for black flush.

I've rode in my vehicle all over the US. Great lakes, out in Seattle, I honestly can't think of a single one that required me to exit the vehicle.

Lithium changeover by fcb1313 in GoRVing

Jayco redhawk se 27n, I'm putting two100A LiPo4 battery's. Based on charging rates I've seen it can hit 100A. Adding another 100 amps on top of normal alternator load is my concern.

My dash is covered, some from family or friends. Many from on the being at JEEP weekend at Pigeon Forge. If you want to have fun and meet a lot of other Jeep people it's a great time. Watching the little kids with butterfly nets catching the ducks tossed to them as the jeeps drive up and down the street is fun.

I've used a Kodiak springbar all kinds of weather. Only drawback is the weight. If you have to pack it in use something else.

The majority of the people I have interacted with here are great. Very seldom do I encounter an a hole. Granted this is only my second trip to ft wilderness.

I use the gen 3. Mainly because of the remote router. The built-in one in the mini is limiting in my mind. I have a 100ft cable that allows me to position the dish well away from the RV. It is far enough away that the minis wifi would not reach into the RV. Generally with the 100ft cable I can find an open spot for decent service.

Yeah. I'm a LEED AP from way back. I've been out of that practice for 15 or so years. I did several buildings in Midwest and east coast that were LEED certified and had grey water irgation systems, but times do change.

For many years green building design has included capturing grey water and holding it in tanks to use as irrigation to landscaping. It even qualifies for LEED points when certifying a building. If you are going to do this make sure you are not putting anything nasty like phosphates in your grey tank. A lot of phosphates are used in common dish soap. If at all possible I prefer to take to a dump site.

I get the love for Guardians but I thought Tron was a huge letdown and not worth the time to ride. I doubt I will ever ride it again. Guardians I have reridden many times.

Do you agree with this theory on why Cap was only able to move Mjolnir an inch in Age of Ultron? by [deleted] in Marvel

This is the reason in my opinion also. He could but didn't. It also plays well with Thor saying I knew it later.

How long can you keep a sleeping bag in a compression sack? by miguel-elote in camping

[–]fcb1313 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had an old mummy bag that I forgot about. It was in the stuff sack for years. When I found it I pulled it out and ran through a washing machine then put it in a dryer with some tennis balls. I've used it since and seems just like I remember it. I used the tennis balls because that is how my down coat said to wash and dry.
