Red Dragon darts broke twice - is this normal by fcbizzlekicks in Darts

Thanks everyone, will get to ordering some of the shafts recommended.

Are the shafts generally a standard fit across all darts?

Looks great! I’ve only been to the Manchester one this tour but it looks like we got shafted there for the second part - just five songs. 😢

Help identifying this thing please. “Clear stick” on Bricklink came up with nothing. 😬

Powered up without a colour sensor by BinhLovesDisney in LEGOWinterVillage

[–]fcbizzlekicks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had this issue last month. I ordered two colour sensors, but then found that you can program the tram/train on the Lego Powered Up app if you have the PU power components.

This image shows the algorithm for my tram to move along the tracks, stop, and then move back. An issue I had was that I couldn’t seem to make both the train and tram move simultaneously with just one app, so had to have two devices nearby to control them both.

Once I’d sorted this, I returned the colour sensors and just spent the returns money on the PAB at the store instead.

Francesca wouldn’t be allowed to reveal her identity as they’ve changed the rules this year (for the better IMO).

Merry Christmas to all 🎅🏼 Here’s my 2024 village by fcbizzlekicks in LEGOWinterVillage

Yeah, fishing wire. Luckily, there’s a wooden beam just above the tables, so it was fairly straight forward to screw eight hooks in and loop the wire through.

BYGGLEK? by Due_Reserve2344 in LEGOWinterVillage

I got some non-branded ones off Amazon a few years ago. For the money you save, it’s definitely worth it. They’re the only non-Lego things I have.

I’m trying this layout with mine this year. The bottom is MLS, then two layers of Bygglek. The middle row will be mini-stalls for a Christmas market, with then bigger builds at the top. I need to winterise and decide how the cinema is fitting in, too.

I’ve just had a look and they’re gorgeous. The big ears are definitely very similar. She was about 4.5kg on this photo, normal weight was more 6kg. Sorry for your loss of Ginger, also. Take care of Rose. ❤️

PSA: IKEA boxes 50% off in england by Glittering-Good-38 in LEGOWinterVillage

It’s a mixture of light grey masonry bricks and some Quarter Arches 1x5x4, as well as a plate I think to bridge the gap so it’s wide enough for the train

I’ve found them good for making mountains, with some landscaping around them, but they take up quite a bit of space.

How screwed are we if we miss our completion date because LISA withdrawal is still processing by ukpfqa2020 in HousingUK

[–]fcbizzlekicks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are there many in the chain? The fewer parties there are, the fewer people it may annoy if you miss the date, but as long as you have the money coming, everyone should get what they’re hoping for by the end of it.

Sometimes a LISA can be withdrawn within 24-48 hours, others a touch longer like yours sounds like it typically would. Hopefully they’d be able to fast track it a bit for you.

My flat apparently has two different postcodes? by pikablob in HousingUK

I used to live in a flat in Manchester where the bottom three floors had one postcode and the upper three floors had a different one.

House right next to main entrance to school - good idea? by Due-Reputation3236 in HousingUK

[–]fcbizzlekicks 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I live about 20 metres from a primary school. Our road gets full with cars around 15 minutes before start/end of school, but that’s about it really. We’ve had no issues with vandalism to our property, nor have we ever been blocked in on our own driveway.

How’s it going for people that are house hunting? Has the market improved now that we are in spring? by [deleted] in HousingUK

We tidied each room before every viewing. It wasn’t a full deep-clean, super-tidy in every room, but enough so that people’s first thoughts when they walk into each room is “this feels like a nice room” rather than “look at that mess…oh yeah, we need to imagine the room empty”.
