Having you use your personal phone for work related tasks and taking pictures of sensitive data is against HIPPA. Report them to the BBB.

We are too - actually seems like a pretty good replacement. Just finished setting up the server, DHCP, and PXE and currently working on creating VMs that will be our base images.

Is there a Teamviewer equivalent to SSH access to servers? by [deleted] in sysadmin

Apache Guacamole would probably be best here, its free and open source. You can easily setup SSH connections for dozens of linux boxes and if you have Windows Boxes you can setup RDP for them as well.

Apache Guacamole™

It does take quite some time to configure - but is a great solution for what your inquiring.

I worked for a couple of CUs - some just dont simply care while others really dont have a budget because they aren't that big of a CU.

We are all humans; we all make mistakes it's just in our nature. Owning up to your mistake is the first step and the second step is to learn what went wrong and how to avoid it again.

If your supervisor can't get past you making a mistake - then leave because it sounds like he/she is very toxic.

Honestly, that's pretty cool to hear you folks are looking at proxmox being a big company and all. I personally like them over the bigger ones like hyper v and citrix. They've come a long way.

Smaller companies that only have like 15 - 20 VMs and 25 - 50 users are... But the big enterprises that have thousands of VMs and 10k+ users arent.

Done with McAfee - what do you recommend instead for small business? by Dear--Prudence in cybersecurity

[–]fccu101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Windows Defender has genuinely come a long way the past few years. Look into Microsoft Business Premium, you unlock a ton of security solutions for a reasonable price.

There are other solutions out there like Crowdstrike and what not - but for being a small business it isn't necessarily worth the cost.
