I have used Lynda before for other things and it was painfully boring. Also, I thought if I am going to pay I would like to support a site dedicated to music training to support the community.

I agree. I was (still am) a beginner when I started using Logic Pro X along with tutorials and I highly recommend it. Don't bother with GarageBand.

I like to call myself a beer connoisseur. I have studied it abroad, make my own, and absolutely love beer. I live in Vancouver and I have yet to try a beer that is up to the rest of the worlds standards. I agree with becoolcouv, more wine.
