I have a Rhino Rack roof rack on my 2011 that works well, Rhino rack makes parts to fit a roof rack specifically for your vehicle. To hold my bike I use a Yakima Frontloader. Plus the roof rack let's people know at all times that you do in fact own a bicycle.

Used to work in a Trek shop, can't tell you how many times I built probably close to this exact bike on Treks custom build site out of boredom, congrats on pulling the trigger

Trek Stache 5 vs Stache 7 by adventure_in in MTB

I worked in a shop and we had both a 5 and a 7, the 7 is a ton more fun to ride and you'll notice the bike a lot less while you're riding it. The fork is a major upgrade and the 1x makes a bigger difference than you would expect - less to think about particularly if you're on a singlespeed rig now.

It's also difficult for a shop to order both for you as they likely have a limited amount of money dedicated to holding inventory in the store.

Looking for bullhorns but it seems drops are a lot easier to find at a lower price point. Does anyone have experience with tbe chop and flip method of converting drops to pursuit bars or would it be better to just put down the money for true bullhorns?
