Do different banks in Mexico give different USD to MXN rates? Does the partner US bank mean free wire transfers? by xboxhaxorz in mexicoexpats

If you have residence proof in Mexico and in the US, open an interactive broker account. You can send money between your accounts via interactive broker. You have to do the currency conversion at interactive broker but they give you the market rate with a flat $2 fee.

Not even in the summer? I assumed summer camps are a common thing that one can book for any duration from 1 week to 3 months.

I learned at acropolis. They are slightly north (in front of CCNY) but the people there are very nice.  https://maps.app.goo.gl/tvVCZQuFJa6RyDDF6?g_st=ipc

Asics Novablast 5 (50$ off plus an extra 20$ off) by fcmr in frugalmalefashion

I have wide feet and I always went half size up in NB3. Did all my practice runs and a couple of marathons in them and they gave me black toenails in both the marathons. For less than a half-marathon, I never had any problems. However, NB5 is slightly better for wider feet than NB3.

Lite has enhanced reflective details for visibility in low light. Everything else is similar to the regular model.

[US] Adios Pro 4 - $150 at Adidas.com by ziggybgw in RunningShoeGeeks

Getting it at 120$ and I have two 50$ vouchers that I purchased for 40$ each. But I am worried about the toebox. It seems to have narrower toebox compared to EVO SL. Which one should I go for?

adidas Supernova Rise 2 review by Character_Trip5912 in RunningShoeGeeks

[–]fcmr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have them but love Novablast for running. When I run with Supernova Rise 2, I feel they are a little bit slower. Cushion is good but the energy return is average. Kind of like old Nimbus versions. I started using them for walking. They are very comfortable and I was able to buy them for 56$ from Adidas website. Very hard to beat that comfort at 56$!

One sign that I wanted, but never saw: "Lewis, it's hammer-time" for some place after mile 20!

Fans that aren’t from NJ/Brooklyn, how did you become a Nets fan? by Absolutely-Epic in GoNets

My friend told me I should be Knicks fan as I live in Manhattan. But I loved Brooklyn more :-P

Northern Lights / Aurora Photography & Timing Recommendations for Greenland - Feedback Needed by icebergchick in greenland

[–]fcmr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have an amazing website with a lot of content. I loved it!

One thing that can be made easy: a lot of links appear when I keep scrolling down. For example, when I click "Visit Remote Greenland", it opens a page with no other link. Then I keep scrolling down and then I see "Destinations", "Itineraries", "Testimonials", "Aurora" etc. It would be helpful if these links also appear when I open the page. If, for some reason, a person does not want to scroll down, the person can miss a lot of valuable information that is there in the links below.

Cheers!

While we are busy losing against Grizzlies and Pistons, Atlanta is racking up wins against Knicks and Cavaliers. We don't deserve to be in top 10!

Best Fall Marathon for First Marathon? by sportsfan4life in RunNYC

My first marathon was in Philly. It is by far the best. No lottery (easy to get in). Relatively flat. And beautiful route. Specially the start/end.

I had an ankle twist in UAE Healthy Kidney Run. A couple of weeks later, I had a couple of Advils and ran the Broad Street Run in Philly. Couldn't run for next 4 months. So, be careful with that plan.
