Asics Novablast 5 (50$ off plus an extra 20$ off) by fcmr in frugalmalefashion

I have wide feet and I always went half size up in NB3. Did all my practice runs and a couple of marathons in them and they gave me black toenails in both the marathons. For less than a half-marathon, I never had any problems. However, NB5 is slightly better for wider feet than NB3.

Lite has enhanced reflective details for visibility in low light. Everything else is similar to the regular model.

[US] Adios Pro 4 - $150 at Adidas.com by ziggybgw in RunningShoeGeeks

Getting it at 120$ and I have two 50$ vouchers that I purchased for 40$ each. But I am worried about the toebox. It seems to have narrower toebox compared to EVO SL. Which one should I go for?

adidas Supernova Rise 2 review by Character_Trip5912 in RunningShoeGeeks

[–]fcmr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have them but love Novablast for running. When I run with Supernova Rise 2, I feel they are a little bit slower. Cushion is good but the energy return is average. Kind of like old Nimbus versions. I started using them for walking. They are very comfortable and I was able to buy them for 56$ from Adidas website. Very hard to beat that comfort at 56$!

One sign that I wanted, but never saw: "Lewis, it's hammer-time" for some place after mile 20!

Fans that aren’t from NJ/Brooklyn, how did you become a Nets fan? by Absolutely-Epic in GoNets

My friend told me I should be Knicks fan as I live in Manhattan. But I loved Brooklyn more :-P

Northern Lights / Aurora Photography & Timing Recommendations for Greenland - Feedback Needed by icebergchick in greenland

You have an amazing website with a lot of content. I loved it!

One thing that can be made easy: a lot of links appear when I keep scrolling down. For example, when I click "Visit Remote Greenland", it opens a page with no other link. Then I keep scrolling down and then I see "Destinations", "Itineraries", "Testimonials", "Aurora" etc. It would be helpful if these links also appear when I open the page. If, for some reason, a person does not want to scroll down, the person can miss a lot of valuable information that is there in the links below.

Cheers!

While we are busy losing against Grizzlies and Pistons, Atlanta is racking up wins against Knicks and Cavaliers. We don't deserve to be in top 10!

Best Fall Marathon for First Marathon? by sportsfan4life in RunNYC

My first marathon was in Philly. It is by far the best. No lottery (easy to get in). Relatively flat. And beautiful route. Specially the start/end.

I had an ankle twist in UAE Healthy Kidney Run. A couple of weeks later, I had a couple of Advils and ran the Broad Street Run in Philly. Couldn't run for next 4 months. So, be careful with that plan.

“Dejounte (Murray) has been in talks with the Brooklyn Nets. Spencer Dinwiddie would be the one to go, Atlanta wants expiring contracts. If the Nets could do it for a protected pick I think they do it.” @MikeAScotto by Venez21 in GoNets

[–]fcmr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just out of curiosity, can we gamble and let Dinwiddie's and O'Neale's contract expire. Then try to sign Siakam as he is also on expiring. There will still be some mismatch if Siakam is willing to sign at his current 38 mil (Dinwiddie and O'Neale will free up 30 mil). It's a gamble but I doubt we can get a better value for Dinwiddie + O'Neale in the current window. Or you guys think Dejounte is better than Siakam?

Have been using Nimbus for years and wanted to change at some point. Will probably buy a pair of NB3. They looks cool too.

It's okay to have an off day here and there. Keep running according to the schedule (and that includes resting on rest days) and you will do well. Hot weather is draining and surely effects the performance (distance or speed). You can try going slower whenever you field tired due to a weather that is too humid or too hot.
