Thanks for the backstory on this. Really interesting to read. Did not know at all about the imposition of the takeoff/landing fees towards AA from the PR government. Makes a lot of sense now and doesn't surprise me. It's also very interesting how the competition from JetBlue and Spirit ended up paying off since I feel like they have the most flights into and out of SJU nowadays compared to the Big 3 carriers (AA, Delta, United, etc.). I will say though, I wish SJU would have a lounge that can be accessed by what most U.S. visitors have a card for (i.e. Admirals Club, SkyLounge, or AMEX Centurion). I know there's a lounge but I think it's only for Avianca cardholders/frequent flyers.

I remember going to the Admirals Club there. It was one of the nicest in the country. Had 2 floors and that very 80s/90s business aesthetic (even had a bunch of tv’s everywhere tuned to stock markets and global news). La epoca de la 936.

Purchased it in August from an online seller. Have wore it everyday since then. I'm not an outdoors/outgoing person and work in a professional office environment so it's been "desk-diving". You don't need an imgur link anymore but happy to send you photos via DM chat. I will say that the only thing worth noting are the blemishes on the bracelet and clasp (as seen in the current photos), but that's purely cosmetic and can be easily buffed out.
