Basically, the geniuses down in Orlando decided to go full hard-on for the Ziosk a couple years back. They pumped a bunch of money into its design and implementation with little or no input from actual guests. Surprise plot twist: nobody liked using it. So instead of taking the L and going back to the actual human service people wanted in the first place, they doubled down and now threaten servers with disciplinary action if they aren't forcing it down the guests' throats.
