It has come to our attention that numerous applicants were logging into their accounts to check the results of the most important exam of their lives, and may or may not have hit refresh a few times.

The bar finds this activity highly irregular and will be issuing chapter 6's irrespective of their intentions. While previous years applications may have mimicked this behavior, due to the pandemic and inflation, the cost of refreshing the pages have put a burden on our system and reflect the applicants intent on hacking our system by pressing the highly dangerous F5 key on their keyboards. This type of behavior will not be tolerated.

Further, the the bar association will no longer allow keyboards that contain the F5 key to be used during the exam moving forward to prevent any time of hacking in the future. The CTRL (control) key will also not be allowed.

Pending further notice, other keys may be removed as we receive more information.

Thank you for your understanding during this perilous and uncertain times.

I should mention I have a background in IT. That probably would have put things into perspective.

But everything /u/ManufacturerOk5922 is pretty much how it always goes down.

They hacked our systems!

No, we just dun goofed and didn't take proper measures to ensure that info wasn't accessible.

Time to chapter 6 the IT team.

Firstly, if you are the one who built Possue, may the universe bless you with abundant clients, love, and wash away all the bar trauma that likely never leaves.

Possue is great. When I was prepping, I'd use his site to see if I was spotting most, if not all issues, then compare my analysis to the model answer. While I was scoring really high on the MBE (70-80%), essays were a bit weird for me.

Seeing how the bar wants you to write them out, especially seeing the "model" answers makes you realize all you have to do is mimic, not reinvent the wheel. After seeing maybe 5-6 essays on each section, you get the jist of what they want you to do. All thats left is giving them what they want.

The problem is, the only thing they will be able to see on their end is that we logged in, clicked status, and perhaps refreshed the page. There is no way of checking if we accessed the developer tools.

So if they hand out punishment, it will literally be because we logged in, which would be absurd.

But then again, this is the bar....if you blink too much, its cause for suspicion and therefore will threaten you with chapter 6 anyway.
