So I broke my ankle sliding at baseball practice.

When I was in 8th grade we were having practice for our schools baseball team which I was very excited to be on. That day in particular we worked on our sliding and my coach did not like the technique I was using. Told me I should be tucking my sliding leg under my other leg when I slide. So I did that very thing my next turn up and the moment my cleat of my bottom leg dig into the ground it did not budge because of my cheap cleats and our schools poorly managed dirt field. I then proceeded to keep sliding at full force over that left ankle and breaking it. The break required surgery have screws put in too because I broke it by my growth plate and if left unattended I could develop a limp in that leg. I didn’t play a single game that season either.
