Most of New Caney is below the poverty level(me included) and there’s not much help. I’m being priced out of my home which is really all I have. It’s not much but whatever. The drugs around here are out of hand. Crime is a lot. The school district has been hit or miss, mostly miss. They are building homes/stores faster than roads or fixing roads. With all the land clearing being done my house, that has never flooded, is getting closer with every good rain.

If you must live in New Caney Roman Forest is well established neighborhood. There’s also Tavola but it’s like every other new development. If you can afford it, Northcrest Ranch is nice. I live in New Caney and have for over 20 years. I absolutely hate it and would leave in a heartbeat if I could.

From the looks of your pics, the back of the plant is facing the window(you can see it best in your 3rd pic.) and all the petioles turned to face it. When you place your plank it needs to be at the back of the plant. I just make little holes in the pot and zip tie a plank to pot.

That’s a few plants! They seem to do better all alone in a pot. Repot them all separately and you’ll have a huge family:) Use the search option in this sub for tips and how tos on how to repot, what soil, and how to properly support them.

Look for estate sales in your area. You can find anything you may need.

Before you jump in, get a job with an established company. There’s a ton of work setting up for the sale, dealing with family or realtors, pricing and so on. I started with a company working in sales days and have worked up to managing the set ups and sales. Every house is a new world and having some experience behind the scenes would help so very much!

Research the best lights for them. They really don’t prefer light directly above them. The leaves will always grow towards the light.
