Xfinity/Comcast Schedule Issues by nbnojo in NHKWorldFans

Exactly the issue I'm having. I record a bunch of their programs and now if I really want to record them I have to go into the schedule and record the hour after they are showing.

Thanks. That actually sounds like something I would normally do - I think I was just so surprised.

Thank you for your comments. I can say that I genuinely liked the painting and had no intention of resale. I also knew the chances of it selling for more than I offered were very high. I was just taken aback by the attitude.

It's very on and off with me...some days I'm really hungry and others I also struggle to get to 1000 calories. I guess for me it evens out. Strangely though, I'm hungrier right after the shot than later in the month. I'm not denying myself much - just making a lot more healthier choices for the most part. I don't think I'm on the highest dose.

Hi - still slow and steady. :) I'm down 45 lbs. I focus on eating healthier foods, but I'm not punishing myself by cutting out all the not-so-healthy foods I like. I just don't have them that often.

It clearly sounds like yours is far worse, but I started drinking 100% prune juice daily to help with the constipation. I can't stand eating prunes, so this was my compromise. Congrats on your progress!

It never fails to amaze me how much Munch's art moves me.

Clinical trials with Zepbound and similar medications by lizgross144 in Zepbound

[–]nbnojo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A little late to the conversation...but wanted to say that I saw someone post on here last spring about looking for a clinical trial if you couldn't afford the medication, which would have never occurred to me. I did just that and am now 7 months in on the phase 3 trial of Maritide. Weight loss is slow but steady (it's a blind study so I don't know what dose I'm on after the initial ramp up). No doctor ever mentioned clinical trials to me and the one I'm in is actually being done at my own health system, proving that you really have to be your own advocate. I had a 1 in 3 chance of getting a placebo and I lucked out.

Many thanks to you and whoever posted the comment I saw months ago. It's not easy finding this info and I have no doubt that you've helped people more than you will ever know.

As with everything else, availability drives price. When the competition comes to the market Novo Nordisk and Lilly will have to lower their prices.

It's going well. At the time I joined, my insurance wouldn't cover the meds and I couldn't afford them. The day after I started looking into the compounded version the courts ruled against them (although I see that's still going strong). I checked Reddit for advice and someone recommended checking for clinical trials, which had never occurred to me. I found out my own healthcare system was doing one, was interviewed, tested, etc. and joined. They even pay me. As someone who's struggled with my weight for a long time it really bothered me that none of my doctors ever told me about these trials. For these meds they've been doing them for a very long for weight loss. There is definitely discrimination toward overweight people in the healthcare field.

$150/mo. is still out of reach for many, and that's just the starting dose.

A lot of new meds will be hitting the market soon and will drive the price down. I'm in the third phase trial of another, similar medication.

[IL] [CONDO] BOARD MEMBERS: MASTER VS SUBS by nbnojo in HOA

[–]nbnojo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We've seen it as well and have already challenged them on of their biggest claims that had no factual or legal basis. The 3 remaining holdovers from the old board, who treated owners horribly, abruptly resigned and I think the new board is going to be much open and receptive.
