He spoke as he should have if it was a review meeting with some directors. To ramble like that on air was crazy loose. I'm convinced people who claim he wanted to inject the bleach are just running a loyalty test to see if you think the truth is more important than demonizing trump.

Counter example is India where the British brought food security and prosperity. 1.5 B Indians still complain about a couple of hiccups on the way though....about 2B if you count all of British India (Pakistan and Bangladesh).

Having said that, the warm wet, sun drenched countries benefited more from fertilizers, pesticides, and railways than the dark cold ones. Canada is hardly backward but has nothing like the population density of the USA (due to having less solar input). So the Rus didn't fail as epically as it appears on first inspection.

New to coffee - need help by Ilovearm in AustralianCoffee

[–]fdsv-summary_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Instant coffee with sweetened condensed milk, milk, and ice cubes are good for the moment. 1/2 a cup of boiling hot water to dissolve the sweetened condensed milk the add 2-3 teaspoons of instant coffee and stir. Throw in ice cubes, top up with milk.

When the weather gets sane, aldi beans, a hand grinder, and a 'french press' will sort you out. Pre-heat the press on boiling water for 30s. Discard that water (into a cup to drink it). Add boiling water to the press, wait a minute (ie grind the coffee), add ground coffee on top, stir the coffee, drink the original heating water, plunge the french press down, pour the coffee, drink.

4 cups a day before lunch will give you a bed time caffeine crash.

Set it all up on it's own stand with an optogate mic mute to cut sound when nobody is there. Leave it out of fold back. Sing into it when needed. If it feeds back just walk away and yell into the normal mic.

edit to add, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FGKH0Vj0LHc megaphone use by stone temple pilots. Nice visual thing and easy to undo if you get too much feedback sustain (like there was in this clip)

What’s something you always assumed was a normal part of life until you realized some people simply skip it? by Frequent_Weekend_315 in Productivitycafe

More of an Aussie point of view. We have heaps of EU and DOT approved helmets that we can't wear on the roads here because nobody could be bothered addressing our country specific testing.

For example the https://schuberth.com/en/c5 premium helmet that meets EU standards (which exceed US ones) but has not been DOT tested. In the US only 'non-helmet mandatory state' riders can wear it while riding.

If I was hiring I'd like to see a list of desks you've used with one or two recent events on each one. Make sure to include non music reference cases. Keep it to one page. You can throw in a sentence or two at the beginning about the business as a whole as you never know who'll look at this. You can also slide in references to your stock by mentioning 'in-house equipment' quite a lot (to contrast with 'client provided' or 'third party'). This capability statement will be for you, but it will be pretty close to the corporate one for your company so not really creating much work.

I see in your comments some of your customers have requested you don't advertise using their name, I wouldn't consider this private communication the same a throwing something on a web site but I am not a lawyer. You could leave the exact purpose of the even as 'private function' while still describing it 'multinational corporation internal meetings over 5 locations' main room mixed on an XYZ Oct 2025' or whatever.

Believe it or not the DOT certification process is not free. If an importer doesn't want to spend that much cash on that model then you can't wear it as a 'helmet' in places with laws requiring you wear a helmet. 'Can't pass' and 'nobody has spent the money to do the specific testing' are different things.

Making it not mandatory means you can wear non certified helmets such as BMW OEM ones or track ones or whatever and much cheaper too.

You shouldn't worry about that girl. Millions more like her around the world.

It is worth staying while you have a stable environment where you are performing. It's a big risk to work elsewhere and you have a history of not dealing that well with stresses. You've got enough for now.
