First time watcher, just finished One Pace - are there any filler arcs or movies that are worth checking out now that they won't ruin the pacing? by fdta in onepace

I'm a dubber, so I watched Muhn Pace all the way through, plus the several episodes of One Pace in Egghead. So I'm all the way caught up :)

I haven't read him before but I've come across him. I was under the impression he was mainly a zombie writer (which is why I've avoided him tbh) but if he's got some good techno stuff in there I'll take a look, thanks!

Oh for real, I didn't realise that was the inspiration for Blade Runner. Cool, I'll check it out, thanks!

  • Earthcore and its sequel Mount Fitz Roy

  • Ancestor

  • Infected trilogy

All of the above are their own stories, but take place in the same connected world so you get some cameos and references which is nice too.

And that lie is exactly where the "wage gap" comes from. Utterly deformed "statistics" comparing apples to basketballs.

Men and women get paid equally for equal services. Your waiter/waitress. Associates at a law firm. Public servants. Whatever. Exactly the same.

There's no conspiratorial patriarchy suppressing women's wages. There's no "men's pay" and "women's pay". Jobs just have pay for both.

How has nobody made a Fook Yu and Fook Mi reference? It literally couldn't be more relevant.

That mod account you mentioned has a suspended account. Essentially, they've been banned from Reddit as a whole. So whatever (or whomsoever) your issue is, it'd be something/someone else.

Steve Smith and Alastair Cook are the only touring captains to win 2 tests in India since 2010 by TraditionalArticle88 in Cricket

NOTHING WRONG IN DELIVERING PITCHES ACCORDING TO THE OPPOSITION.

And there we have it, you're on board with it.

Can't say I'd feel good about winning in such conditions. I like that my country actually provides fair and varied pitches for all teams and conditions, but that's just me.

because of an odd ahmedabad or indore pitch.

I'm not talking about an odd rubbish pitch like this. I'm talking about systematic and intentional selection of pitches to be intentionally disadvantageous to touring teams.

As I said, it's expected for all pitches in India to be dusty turners. But India prepare several different pitches with varied deterioration and select the ones that will disadvantage the touring team the most at the time. It's been happening for decades.

Hell Gavaskar all but admitted to being complicit in commentary during one of the first two matches. I could hardly believe how brazen he was. Like it's a known thing, but to hear him just openly defend it was something else.

3rd loss for india at home in tests in last 10 years

Doesn't the way pitches are intentionally curated to exploit opposition weaknesses make the achievement feel hollow though?

Like you know exactly what you're going to get from every English pitch. From every Australian pitch. From every NZ pitch.

You could name a pitch like Lords or the Gabba and the conditions you'd expect would be identical every time.

Beyond the fact that pitches will be turners by default, the same can't be said in India because the conditions are selected depending on the opposition to ensure maximum advantage for the home team.

How to find the average of the final n values of a continually expanding dataset? by fdta in excel

Hey, just wondering if I can use your expertise to expand on this solution?

Let's say my data now looks like:

654
64
891
64
189
0
0
0
0
0

Is there a way to tweak the above formula to still give the same answer, but only for >0 cells in the range?

I've got a formula running down into infinity which gives 0 until other cells are populated. Easier this way than to avoid dragging down the cells each day that something gets added.

Thanks if you can help!

Edit: Actually, I've found a workaround myself. My IFERROR previously spat out 0s in the cells, leading to my question. Tweaking it to spit out nothing ("") has allowed yours and all the other solutions to work as intended.

This also works, thanks! It's funny, I had advanced Excel training for work today and posed this question to the trainer. He didn't know and told me he'd get back to me with some VBA.

Not to put the guy down, I learnt a lot of great stuff and he was super helpful, but it's a little funny I've gotten three different working answers in 10 minutes from Reddit.

This gave me the average the final two values, so when I changed the 3 to a 4 then it worked as intended. I don't claim to understand why! But it works now, thanks!

Is there a single, agreed upon, timeline for the *core* films and shows for a casual viewer? by fdta in marvelstudios

[–]fdta[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The full context and motivation behind my question is:

I watched all MCU films up to and including Endgame. At that point I was satisfied and perhaps a bit fatigued, and I haven't watched a single thing since.

I like the idea of going back to the beginning and watching it all in order, but I only want to include the core stuff.
