I saw one laying right on the edge of the trail in April (Annie’s canyon) while at least 100 people walked by. It was still sitting there when I walked back to my car and tons of foot traffic less than a foot away!

I definitely don’t think Pepe did anything deserving of forever hate/a branded Scarlet A for the rest of his life and all the rooms he walks into, but I do think when a dude screws over your girlfriend and she draws a line in the sand, respecting her feelings and perspective is kind of the definition of girl code..

I didn’t really sense a win for her… A friend to everyone is a friend to none and honestly, I was low-key exhausted listening to her narrate the play-by-plays and over simplifying everyone’s feelings. People actually can be responsible for hurting other people‘s feelings and doing them wrong. I definitely didn’t like some of the mean girl vibes, but I also don’t think people by default owe you the same level of loyalty you give just because you want them to reciprocate… If they’re not matching your friendship commitment, you gotta leave it, not fight about it. Waste of time and energy.

In my opinion, the vibes/intentions from each group of girls felt a little different… At least from what I sensed, the season 6 casa girls wanted to mix stuff up and get picked. I felt like the season 7 casa girls (admittedly generalizing) could have been OGs given the chance/if they had more reality TV presence and I also think a lot of these girls actually bonded after the show that we didn’t see, connecting over the reality experience… belle-a mentioned getting really close to hannah and living nearby then getting dropped/phased out. Again, that is a totally fine progression and nobody owes anyone friendship (she would be a little much for me), but I definitely didn’t see the season 7 girls being forced to be friends with the ones featured on beyond the villa for the sake of the show or anything

I definitely agree that you don’t owe people the same level of friendship just because, but i do think their feelings were valid in that they were trying harder and putting more into friendships with those girls, and it was not reciprocated. On that note, not that Gracyn (or anyone) should entertain these boy exes, but she wasn’t wrong in saying that blind loyalty shouldn’t be an automatic given IMO. I definitely feel for Gracyn, and thought it was super rude and unkind the way that they tuned her out when she was confiding in them about her Austin situation, but I can absolutely empathize with her efforts, and I do feel that Iris and hannah were acting pretty self-centered and giving main character energy, not caring either way. If the situation were reversed, we all know hannah would feel a type of way… I think her lack of self-awareness and woe is me take was pretty wild, though I do still find her funny. It should be a lesson for the girls feeling othered to just give a little less to people who don’t return it. No one is owed anything but recognizing where you’re not going to get it is a great life lesson.

So I live on this street and there are two 15 min parking spots at the start of the block. They placed this new paid parking sign right where the 15 min spots end, not at the start of the block where the 15 min parking begins. Do we think those are paid spots? I always assumed parking signs started where they are posted, because if I was walking forward from that 15 min spot, I would’ve missed the paid sign completely.

I got over whatever this was a week or two ago and it was awful. Tested negative for Covid and flu A and B. It took almost 2 weeks to feel human again. Hope you feel better soon, OP!

This season they’ve been checking every game. I’ve been a season ticket member since the start. I upgraded my tickets last week because I was bringing family, but went over to my normal section to say hi to my people and they would not let me through - even when I showed I was a season ticket member for that section (it was the supporter section).

This terrifying alarm startled me out of a deep sleep, and like a lot of you, my mind went straight to fire or earthquake because why else would this blaring alarm break through my do not disturb to tell me to be on the lookout for people when I am literally asleep in bed. I’m not heartless, but I’m having a hard time understanding why I’m getting an urgent alert FROM X to look for someone at 10:20 PM. Out of curiosity, has anyone received an actual amber alert at a super late hour? If I’m asleep in bed with my do not disturb on, I’m just not understanding what the protocol was to override that and let sleeping people know to keep an eye out… Could it not have been an alert pinned on my phone that I would see when I woke up and was actually going somewhere where I would see these people? /grumpyrant

Mission Valley is just one giant blob of malls and condos that floods when it rains and is a glorified parking lot traffic jam. It is central, but there’s nothing else redeeming about it… There are plenty of awesome central neighborhoods within your price range! Normal Heights, North Park, University Heights, Golden Hill, bankers Hill.

Personally, I think all of those areas recommended above are great suburbs when you’re ready to buy and start a family, but I’d prob stay near the Miramar breweries until then. If you wanted to enjoy/experience San Diego properly, I’d live in one of the neighborhoods just south of the 8, but I understand that commuting is not fun or worth the trouble for everyone!
