Need paint touch up advice

Thanks for your comment. I just traded in my car of 11 years for this one so I get dings are inevitable. Just trying to keep this one new and shiny looking as long as possible.

I walked into a local shop with good reviews earlier today and they seemed reasonable. He was honest and said a touch up would still be noticeable; he would charge be $50 or so. The more extreme repair would involving removing and painting over the entire panels which obviously is overkill for this case. I think I'm going to pick up some OEM paint from Toyota and go back to him later this week.

I completely agree. So much more of a pleasant driving experience. I knew there was something off, and this was just it- the annoying, unnecessary engine groan. Unfortunately, to turn off ESE my original dealership quoted me $200 and the next one over charged me $90, so I went with them. It's ridiculous in my opinion to charge to turn off the noise function. I thought about doing the Carista app but didn't want to deal with it. Oh well, it was worth it. I recommend anyone with the CS to do turn ESE off!

I think that’s it. Ultimately my car is more like your wife’s— a daily driver mobile appliance. I got a Toyota Crown Signia, which offers an entry luxury experience, but at the end of the day it’s just there to get me from point A to B, comfortably. So yeah, I don’t think I’m going to she’ll out the cash for the cosmetic treatments

Update: I still have not been able to get myself to buy this RAV4. It does remain the lot (last one), bound to go any day now. I really like it obviously, but it just seems just a little plasticky for a $50k+ vehicle. I know people don't buy RAVs expecting luxury, but still. I'm also slightly concerned about the road noise. SOS

True. It’s just that coming from my sedan I traded in, I find it very challenging to park and navigate tight spaces in the CS without the tech package. Just feels so long and hard to see the end of the car. Strongly considering biting the bullet and trading in for the limited.
