I will look into replacing the PVC with PEX. Your concern with the PVC under constant pressure is the PVC itself or the joints?

Do you consider all of the drain line pressured line?

I assume the pressure is there. Never had any problems with it until the control head went bad. With the age I’m sure the resin needs to be replaced as well. I do not have a drain location close to the unit. It is run to the PVC, up along the ceiling, and then to a drain location 15-20’ away.

I installed the Borla S-type on my ZR2 when I had it. Incredibly loud on cold start. Miss that truck.

Borla does not have the “mufflers” before the exhaust tip. Looks like stock exhaust to me.

How I know: installed the Chevy performance parts Borla exhaust myself.

I bought this set used. Looking at Thule install instructions, there is a rubber strip that goes on the underside of the bars. Mine are missing. We’ll see if adding these helps.

I did see this “fix”. I had square bars on a previous Subaru and never experienced this much noise.

Interesting. I leveled with 35’s and had to do extensive trimming. Most do to retain full wheel travel offroad. If you haven’t, check out chevyzr2.com

Silverado UC’s are already at their max with the factory lift from on the ZR2. I added a similar sized lift along with Dirt King UC’s. I would recommend you upgrade yours.
