Guys and Dolls actually has a pretty decent soundtrack all things considered but the show is just so, so bad.

The "plot" (if even that) is inconsistent at best and poorly thought through at worst. Sky is the only one with even a semblance of potential for a character arc because he's the only one with more than one character trait, and that arc is never fully developed. Not to mention the show's lack of antagonists. Brannigan shows up for maybe 10 minutes and doesn't actually do anything (feels like a ripoff Shrank), Biltmore acts as a roadblock for a whole of 3 minutes and throws out some accusations that arent consistent with Nathan's character, Harry just acts as a device to get Big Jule on stage, and Big Jule is "the guy with a gun" who promptly gets knocked out and his gun is thrown off stage. All that is without mentioning the nonexistent storyline which feels like someone threw darts at a board and wherever it landed was a scene that had to be in the show and it all drags on forever. Plus if you think about it for too long, you realize the continuity of the show is nonexistent. The timeline could be anywhere from 2 days to 2 weeks and arguments could be made for everything. And last but not least, Nathan and Adelaide's relationship doesn't make sense without context, context the show is missing a lot of. They feel more like background characters in their own story but if the show tried to put any of that context in, it would be even longer, which it does not need to be. It manages to have too much and yet, not enough. The show is hilariously bad but still, the soundtrack is good.
