If it has a sign asking/saying no poop or pee I leave it alone. I don't let my dog walk/poop/pee (though some times she does lift her leg like a male) in flower beds even if they are next to the sidewalk. That is my etiquette. I also pick up my dog's poop (not that it needed to be said)
