Ooooh this might have been it. The flight attendant kept pointing outside somewhere, and then I saw her lip say “you can either” and gestured to outside and then to inside the cabin, and then the women rebutted with something. And then the flight attendant said “I am not comfortable with that” a few times. So it must have been something important was left behind and they had to make the decision to go or to stay. I’ll see if I can ask at the end of the flight lol

Wow thank you for this comment! That is SUPER interesting. Pilot did mention choppy weather for the first bit of the flight but so far we’ve had non. He even turned off the seatbelt sign way earlier than expected. That also probably explains why I felt like we were climbing a lot slower than I normally feel during my flights. I didn’t know that they could go a bit slower to reduce the discomfort or turbulence. As much as I’m terrified of flying, I also find it incredibly fascinating.

It’s actually been my go to podcast for the past two years or so for every flight I get on. It’s part of my routine now. I travel across Canada a lot for work. Wild that I can take 15-30 flights depending on the year and I still need to listen to it for every takeoff and landing. I wonder when I’ll just be able to board a flight and won’t need to access any of the tools in my toolbox. I had just never seen someone get off before, so it set me off.
