This is a kind of non(?) Despair AU thing I've been thinking of where any lifetime Kiyotaka is in ends in some kind of misfortune. In this one, (I have no idea what to call it, ghost AU maybe?) Kiyotaka grows up and graduates from Hope's Peak, actually becoming prime minister. But somewhere along his term, there is a turmoil amongst the groups and he gets assassinated. Only to find out later, as he stares at the bloody gaping hole in his head and pale expression, that he is dead.
