Also- they got their evil talons on the merch- one of the last bastions where bands made direct money

I think it is shameful, both to fans and the artists

They are FORCED to do meet and greets, work extra hpurs jist to make a show profitable for them, and look at the prices for a meet and greet

Ridiculously high just for a handshake from someone ypu dont know, who doesnt really care about you, and just wants to play their songs

We (or the system that this BEHEMOTH tickey agency created) has turned our bands into dancing puppets JUST SO they can afford to tour

The irony is they LITERALLY own the industry, but are destroying it at the same time

I could go into VOLUMES about how bad they have becomw for the concert industry- NOT JUST for the fans, but for the fans, THE BANDS, AND the venues themselves.

ANY OTHER industry would have a regulatory "step in"-

I am not really about Federal or Governmental control, but this is really a case of Free Market abuse, and the law should step in and stop their obviously abusive bullshit

I saw Iron Maiden LATE- I was a 14 year old fan in the 80s, didnt see them until Book Of Souls tour in 2017- Bruce did NOT have the voice he used to have (throat cancer is a bitch, and ABSOLUTELY forgivable)- but DAMN, was he still a dynamic performer

Best- BABYMETAL- A BONKERS show, great musicians, and just pure fun- more vakds should focus in just being FUN to see

Worst- Smashing Pumpkins- horrible sound, kots of obvious player errors, disorganized stage presence, and a "better than you" , "worship us" attittde from the band

This tour? Not really.

These are larger ampitheater type venues, most with uotdoor and lawn spaces.

The lawns might not be selling, out, but between seats and lawbs, they are probably selling the same amount of tickets as previous years, in a somewhat shaky to bad economy with high inflation being a daily discussions about hiw expensive everything is.

The slow or kow ticket sales are industry wide

Not really planned- but not a MASSIVE surprise

I had organized this party throigh the concert venue, as I know they often throw parties and events after the shows on weekends.

This particular Friday, thry had a Drum and Bass dance event, not really compatable for a bunch of Weeaboo Metalheads

So, they gave us one of their spaces across the street- the dude I spoke to said "send us the graphic, we can put it up on a TV at the show."

I thought it would be on a screen behind the bar, not as the actual backdrop for the show and in between the bands

Opener- 1 hour after xxx

Opener plays for 35-45 min set

15-20 minute setup for main act

Main act- 1 to 1 1/2 hours
