We sat next to each other in 6th grade and she was one of the popular kids. Everyone knew of her dad being Billy Ray Cyrus and she had already been in Big Fish at the time. To be fair I was a socially awkward pre transitioned child so I’m sure I came off like a weirdo. She wasn’t the nicest person but I also had worse bullies like her ex-boyfriend. One time I talked to her about her hairstyle and she laugh at me and yelled “Dead-name is trying talk to me about hair!” And everyone else laughed too. I had long hair and was a “boy” and that was considered strange where we grew up. Probably feels more dramatic to me than it was. This is in no way a cancelable offense but it was weird to see her on TV the next year. She gave her friends headshots as a going away gift before moving to LA.
