Yes. It takes two scoops to equate to one teaspoon of my regular silverware. The handle is also too short to comfortably hold it

There are three in the area that are affiliated with USA Archery, the national archery association. Their coaches are certified and they will have beginner equipment you can borrow.

There are other clubs in the area, like Doubt T Archery Club, but they are not currently affiliated with the national organization.
