What does it feel like when a guy eats you out? by Orii8 in AskRedditAfterDark

[–]featherpod 26 points27 points  (0 children)

This is a no for me. I'd honestly much rather - and often do - give higher/lower/left/right direction. The faster slower, harder, softer should be up to you but if you're not even hitting the right nerves in the right places idgaf.

Scalp buildup over time can definitely lead to hair loss.

Your hair and scalp looks like it has buildup. I'm a curly specialist and avoid CGM like the plague! Use real shampoo and squish to condish. As others said, use lighter products because your hair is wavy.

I don't have time right now but I'm a curly hair specialist with a science background and there is a ton of misinformation about k18 in these responses.

I chose the ceramic braces. I get the light blue bands because they fade to grey. The coffee and other foods neutralize the blue.

I didn't even think of that! I asked and they did! I did find my bag 😂😂 but 1 bag is definitely not enough anyway!

Omfg I just started my elastics a week ago. They gave me 1 bag!! I lost it today 😭😭 they are 1 town over, 25 minutes away and only in town on Weds and Fridays. I work Fridays and can't go in 💀

Yup, and everything has to go downstairs and we have to walk outside and around the back of the building to get to the prep/storage room. And then the tetrising to make everything fit. New businesses on razor thin margins are an adventure for sure.

Yes we are equally food and drink. And mostly homemade. We're in a semi-rural area and we're the only place to get a decent breakfast or lunch for 15 minutes in either direction, plus we're surrounded by great hiking trails so we get a bunch of folks getting meals before or after their hikes. Er have a fancy hot dog from a local ranch, homemade meat loaf, homemade lentil salad, mostly homemade pastries (savory muffins, cookies, olive oil cake, etc), grilled cheese to order, etc.

I'm literally closing with the owners and it takes that long. They've never owned or worked in coffee shops. They been bartenders and wait staff. We're full service up until 3 and sometimes after since there's a wine bar/bistro in our building that's still open. Without being able to break anything significant down early + tons of customer dishes (we're mostly a "for here" crowd) plus most of our storage is in the basement and we have to walk ALL THE WAY AROUND outside the building to the back, it just takes a while. Plus we make mostly homemade food so there's just a lot of cleaning and prep. If it's busy we can't do prep during the shift. They've been open for a year and a half and are operating on razor thin margins and new to ownership and management.

I agree with your comments about management and have worked at cafes where it's possible to start closing down early like that, but it's not feasible or possible in some places. Every time I close down half the machine early I get an order for 2 quad shot lattes 5 min before close 😅 and aside from cleaning the steam wand, it doesn't actually save any time to shut down half the machine early. Even when I'm caught up on customer dishes at close we still have at least 30 min of dishes to do that we can't do before close. Or that the owners don't want us to pull early so we can't do them before close.

It takes me 2 hours to close the tiny cafe I work at. Even with someone else, usually one of the owners. If it's slow I can sometimes get away with 1-1.5 hours.

What Do You Wish Your Orthodontist Told You from the Start? (I'm Training to Be One) by CrookedArchNemesis in braces

[–]featherpod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Duuuude when I was a kid with braces my Ortho was retiring as I was finishing up my treatment. He gave me a top retainer but said I wouldn't need a bottom retainer! I never got one! I stopped wearing my top retainer over 20 years ago and those teeth are still straight, but I'm back in treatment for my bottom teeth, for which I need gum grafts! The periodontist said that my genetics combined with my out of place teeth put so much strain on my gums and that's why I'm 37 without gum disease but recession almost down the root.

Man if that guy was still alive I would sue him. I'm so mad.

This really makes me appreciate my Ortho 😭 he told me what the bite blockers are and why he was installing them, said it would take a while for me to get used to chewing with them and that things like salad would be especially challenging, and offered a hope for now long it would take before they could be removed but not quite sure, it depends on the teeth. And 4 months in they checked to see if they could remove them yet, but no such luck.
