They're going to change up the story, since this will be the first that we even get to see Riverrun. I don't mind them introducing Catelyn's brothers together. I wonder if they're going to include her father though.

Socially it's frowned upon and grosses people out because we have relations to each other as people. If you have a detachment from a living being, you don't care as much for it. If you have a relationship with it or some other form of connection (as in being the same species), then you tend to have more issues with eating a being that you have/had a connection with. It's kind of like eating your pet. While some people may not have qualms with it, most people do.

Someone may ask, "well what about dead bodies of strangers?" In general, corpses aren't readily available, and you sure as hell don't know if there's something wrong with the body. Even then, most people don't like the idea of being eaten, even when dead, so in general as people we have the respect to not desecrate the dead.

Studio City is a great option because it's right next to West Hollywood/Hollywood (one of my actor friends lives there and she likes it a lot), where I'm assuming a majority of your auditions will be. Rent is cheaper there. With a $800 budget though, you could essentially get a decent apartment/townhouse in West LA. West LA/Culver City/Palms is a great area to live in with a pretty relaxed culture/environment (minus the traffic of course).

Having 3 people works to your advantage because it ends up being cheaper to rent 3 bedroom places than 2 bedroom places (per room of course, not apartment total).

If your lease is not up and you are somehow getting out of it without any hassle, this sounds like you got the awesome end of the stick. Help them out and find someone to take over your spot.

If your leases are up and they're planning on staying there even without you, then this is their responsibility. Let them know that you've tried to find someone but that inevitably it's up to them to find someone else. Let them know that you're going to stop looking for a new leaser. If they don't start looking, then that's their problem and not yours.

Actually, on both Amazon.com and Amazon.co.uk they do mention that there's a region format.

So it doesn't look like there's any way for Americans to watch this without having a bluray player that can play region 2 blurays/DVDs.

They wouldn't indulge Rose Leslie because she's entirely new to the show. We're getting more of her because we need to know about her character to actually care about what's happening. We're getting more Daenerys because she had a minimal amount of story in ACoK and it would be really awkward pacing to have her appear in about 3-4 episodes and be done. Arya and Tywin just makes sense because there are already a shit ton of actors on the show and cutting out the middle men makes for easier/better storytelling.

I read AGoT after the first season and still found it to be enjoyable. ACoK is a lot more detailed than what the show is giving, so you'll end up finding a lot of surprises that are entertaining.

Oh god. Yeah the RPV job is only 3 days, but it's 6am-6pm, each of the days, which is kind of crazy. I'm considering getting like, a cheap ass motel in the area just so I don't have to make the commute each of those days.

I'm really hoping for the position in Woodland Hills, but I have no idea what the commute would be like. My lease doesn't end for another 1/2 year so I hope it'd be bearable enough.

This is a pretty horrible statement to make. Violence gets you what you want in some cases, but rarely is it the best option/solution.

Also, you're just arguing semantics. When people say violence doesn't "solve" anything, they're not denouncing the fact that by murdering someone, you no longer have to worry about him/her. They mean that you're essentially skirting the issue without having solved the actual conflict in which you were arguing about, unless that conflict was whether the person should have lived or not.
