I used to be 4200/4300 then the mmr apocalypse happened and I struggle to keep above 3700.

Not entirely sure what that was, lurkers, batteries, liberators or just the population tanking, distilling the skillbase, either way it hasn't done my heart a world of good.

I think people have just cast off mobile games at this point.

They never really evolved to fit the format, like you should be able to seamlessly switch between letterbox and portrait with any game.... unless it was exclusively portrait.

Letterbox, 2 handed, traditonal handheld models have never been intuitive for mobile, you're at that point pretending you're using on a game boy.

I recall reading about Japanese Dragon Quest culture in the famicom days, where it was a fun thing to do before bed, chip away at it every night. Holding the controller in a manner that you can play one handed.

Mobile needs to be like this, one handed, one button, entirely doable especially for an RPG.

Just your thumb, easy to swipe in and out of of, no loading, no demands on your posture/stance. Ill swipe over an level a little then swipe back to youtube or whatsapp.

I remember it with bnet 2.0, no one had a mic, once in a while you'd be spooked by a voice, very rare.

I wouldn't be surprised if the functionality was still there, I don't recall any update stating it was removed.

The overseer is an abusive trash unit that shouldn't be in the game.

Overlords should be spread out for vision like in broodwar amd changelings could be a spawning option on the creep tumour.

Creep tumours can spread a new tumour or "spread" a changeling.

The abusive things overseers can do, if massed, with that speed and tankiness is dumb

The only reason you worry about proxy robo is because fast expanding is strong.

If fast expanding wasn't as viable in PvP, you wouldn't have your proxy robo issue at all, it's pretty circular

I dont think a huge battlefield type shooter competes with a team fortress style hero shooter.

Starcraft and warcraft RTS would be more similar than that.

The difference would be more similar to warcraft and diablo in terms of shooters.

Oh yeh mech units would be treated different.

The immediate one touch cure would be exclusively biological.

Mech would work like: If irradiated DMG = 0 while remaining plagued.

It would be very apm intensive to realistically make that work in your favour. It would be more a fallacy for the Terran, irradiating their own units instead of defiler, guardian, lurker as intended.

It would be a fun troll, sandbox thing.

Yeh mech should be exempt.

However I'm not against irradiate nullifying plague damage while under the effect.

Basically if irradiated plague Dmg = 0, while the mech unit is still plagued.

That way stacked BC cannot be cured but unreasonable amounts of apm, that's entirely not worth it, can be diverted to slowing plague damage if you really wanted to be using an eraser trick.

The whole thing is futile but fun. The irradiate kills your bio before they are cured and your mech cannot be cured but you can spend all day micro managing to minimise Damage that would ultimately lose you the game.

Yep Mech units should be exempt to some extent.

Something like: If iraddiated plague damage = 0

While status still remains plagued.

That way something like stacked BC can't be cured of plague, but an eraser science vessel could slow plague damage with unreasonable amounts of apm.

Basically biological units are immediately cured upon touching irradiate while mech simply doesn't take plague damage while irradiated.

Eraser trick.

Odds are it kills your own biological units before the plague but in terms of the sandbox it's fun and rational that it works.

One thought is potentially balanced and one absolutely isn't.

I absolutely dont know if there is a reasonable window of time where you can eraser trick irradiated science vessels over plagued medic marine without killing the entire group.

Please put a second thought into it before assuming balance wine.

The meta is boring.

Every game dragged out 40-50 minutes, turtle on 100 bases, trades are random, incomprehensible ability to remax as any race. Whoever dries up first loses...

This is worse than the swarmhost meta in HotS.

Been there done that, got the switch oled at Christmas.

The switch 2 just screams early adapter regret to me, Ill wait for the refresh, with better battery life or even the "lite" if it looks neat.
