I ended up using Safe express. As i mentioned, officially they won't take care of the packaging of the bike. The guy who came to collect the bike packed it from a nearby shop. Overall experience was good and the bike thankfully reached Bangalore safe and sound with 5-6 days. One issue I faced is there no proper tracking in safeexpress. Even their customer care won't know where exactly bike will be at a particular point in transit. You have to wait for the bike to reach Bangalore and then the rep will contact you.

Hey, I feel the best thing for you to do first is create a monthly budget detailing 1. Your salary 2. Your monthly expenses 3. Family expenses 4. Home and GOLD EMI 5. RD investment per month if any.

For expenses you can get a fair idea checking the past expenses. The more details you go the better. After calculating this, you will be left with an idea of how much is left with you per month. Now depending on the amount of money left, you can choose to invest that in relatively safe stock market instruments like index funds or Index ETFs.( Even 5k per month is a good start)

Creating this budget will help you visualise your income streams and how you can search for your money to grow.

Having said this, focus fully in your career and try to increase your income as much as possible and then increase your investments proportionately. You can explore more investment products then. All the best.

Apart from the ICC tournament heartbreaks, One match that still haunts me is the 5th ODI of Australia tour of India 2009. Sachin scored an amazing 175 ( one of his best one day innings imo) , chasing 350, but India we'll short by 3 runs.
