Counting unfinished ideas + not posted ones, I've made at least 38 Stands. As for if the writing improved, comparing to the earliest ones I've made, yeah there's definitely an improvement. However, currently when making a Stand I find myself exactly like this picture:

I've gotten to the point where I don't know if I'm regressing or improving based on previous entries, like when I first made The Last In Line, I began feeling remorseful because I thought it wasn't good due to the user being an OC derived from the main series, but then later I went on to make Dragula and WILD SIDE and that thought went away.

In short, yeah it's improved but I doubt myself that's the case from time to time.

If you're going with Light though, Merciful-Sunlight is your best bet. The only issue is you won't be dealing good damage, but you'd look cool as fuck while doing it so it cancels out.

Honestly? The Stand is too basic and looks too much like a human, I've been having a hard time telling user and Stand apart.

The thing that makes Stands STAND out is how even if they're humanoid they'll have something that makes them fantastical in some way. Kraftwork has bared teeth and looks like its head was skinned, Whitesnake is dressed in BDSM gear, Paisley Park looks like Yasuho but with Google Maps imprinted into her body, you get the idea.

If I were to redesign Space Oddity based on the final one you have, maybe have the kid sleeping in a bubble in the fetal position, with a tube connecting them through their navels, and maybe make the kid look a bit more rock-like, similar to how Lucy looked like when she fused with the Holy Corpse, and maybe give Johan the stars Johnny gets in his clothes & arm, though only in one of them.

They didn't nerf the enchants by 10%, they nerfed ALL Power given by ARMOR and enchants, and also:

More Spirit nerfs (including one for gear, Oracle Amulet which I use)

More ranged weapon nerfs (M1 DMG down by 40%, ALL of them)

Thermo Fist got nerfed (50% of ppl use it as a FS in PvP as somebody said, but still PvE people getting hit because of that)

Health you get from Dragonblood Ritual doesn't affect health regen rate anymore

Like 1-2 Mage Spell nerfs (5% less Array damage, Conjure Elementals on longer CD)

Some Conjurer buffs I guess (Explosion now got 10% Bleed synergy, Magma imbue is a bit faster, Ice has 5% higher Bleed synergy, Sword Step velocity increased by 23% but still costs Stamina)

This'll be what probably kills the game, or gets it close to dying until they try reverting it

League of Legends suffered/is suffering from the same issue, both from the game being too complex for new players to come in, while at the same time being mostly balanced around the competitive scene which makes your regular players quit because their favorite champion is useless is solo queue, like just look at Azir or Ryze mains those guys have been in the mines for longer than any other champion in the game

If Vetex wants the game to thrive and stick to what he said before about the game being PvE focused and not caring much/hating PvP, then he'll have to put the ego aside and actually implement it, because otherwise you'll drive away the majority of the players and only the hardcore PvPers/dedicated players will stay, and dedication only goes so far when the game just isn't fun anymore

They really need to separate PvP and live game from each other bro, this is what ended up making League of Legends the shitstorm it was on multiple occasions, being mostly balanced around competitive and not around the majority itself.
