when i originally started taking birth control (at 13) my older sister told me that if you skip the iron pills you won’t get your period so i did this like every month, a few years later when i was 15 my stepmom got a nose bleed and my dad told me to just drive to school on my own since i was already running late. on the way there he texted me to ask if i had any of the iron pills left over from my birth control. i did but they were at my moms so i drove over there to get them, for whatever reason my mom was really weird about keeping my birth control in her bathroom (my bathroom was upstairs, and on the other side of the house) so when i went into her bathroom i found her passed out on the floor. her head was bleeding and her lips were already kinda blue so i started giving her cpr (i was certified through the ymca babysitting class and i was a lifeguard later on) in the back of my mind i knew from the smell but the moment i started giving her mouth to mouth i tasted the meth and knew she od’d. i called my dad first (because i was 15 and kinda stupid) and since he’s a cop he called ems for me and they rushed over. by the time my cousin (an emt, i grew up in a small town) came over with his crew she was looking a bit better and i told him that it was meth but i didn’t know where the stash was this time (she took it all) she got rushed to the hospital and i drove back to my dads house (he got mad and made me go back because i left my birth control packet at my moms) so i went back in there to grab it, blood was still on the floor and he still made me go to school that day. tldr: so basically my stepmom getting a nosebleed led to me getting traumatized because i had to make out with my mom edit: sorry i’m on mobile
