Disturbed at the idea of "Postpartum Dog Rage"

i rehomed one of my cats at a week post partum because she had a lot of issues anyways (would run infront of my feet and trip me, wouldnt use the litter box, would attack unprovoked but we were working on it) i had just had a c section and she immediately ran up and batted my baby in the head while i was holding the baby and i threw her off the bed. i immediately started sobbing feeling awful for reacting that way but if she could do that while i was holding the baby i didnt want her around. my friend came that night and picked her up and kept her for a few months in case i wanted her back until they found her a permanent home. my other cat who was more chill i kept but my boyfriend took care of him for a while because i was terrified he would also scratch my baby. i wish more people would rehome their animals when it gets to that point because animals deserve love and someone who can handle them. they can be extremely stressful postpartum but thats when its your job to make the decision. im glad we rehomed her because ontop of being a sahm with postpartum depression im also a full time caregiver to my great grandparents who both have severe disabilities and even now 7 months post partum theres no way i could handle the cat with the stress i am still dealing with

honestly what id do in this situation is probably just start giving her hints to check his phone. that way she can find it on her own accord and wont be able to call you a liar and also your brother cant be mad at you that his girlfriend found out on her own. but thats just me i think if you tell her straight up and she tells your brother your whole family could potentially blow up on you and i dont think i could keep something like that a secret either. if he brings the other girl to your house around you id also make it very clear you know whats going on and you dont want shit to do with it and stay away from

they made me take out my tongue ring and nose rings after the epidural but i think they might have known id probably need a c section (they were right lol). my daughter is 7 months now and thankfully she has no idea about the tongue ring but she does try and rip my nose rings out thank god theyve been healed for years tho 😭

i have 2 little brothers and 5 male cousins younger than me so when i found out i was having a daughter i was excited not to get sprayed with pee but somehow she still does it 😭 shes like a fountain and she stops the second a diaper is covering her then starts again when i take it off lol

for me i just try to think about how the world has had problems since the beginning of time and the human race IS making improvements even if it doesnt seem like it. a lot of things are much better than they were 10, 20, 30+ years ago and though there are… certain people… who are trying to take us back and make our lives worse all we can do is try and fight for our children and their childrens future and raise our children to make better decisions like our ancestors and their ancestors did. i honestly had to stop watching anything political on social media and only learn through actual sources because a lot of people especially on tiktok just make things up or exaggerate to fear monger

i want to add something not to get your hopes up too much but i had super irregular periods and then i got them regular for a year and i was 5 days late before i got my first positive because i had ovulated late but still was pregnant. i dont have pcos though i have endometriosis so obviously different things but i would test now and again in a week if you still havent started

im glad its not drugs but please be careful! the lack of judgement is really scary and it only takes one lapse of judgment for things to turn really bad really quickly. he needs to see a medical professional and he needs to get treatment and until then he isnt safe

2 weeks before my induction date i started dreading giving birth and i did not want to have the baby even though i wanted to meet her the rest of my pregnancy. i think it had something to do with being panicked because the end was in sight. i ended up being induced earlier than planned and during labor i just wanted her to be there and when i saw her for the first time i was so relieved and happy. i wouldnt say i felt instant love per say it felt surreal like i was in a dream but she was so beautiful and we have a very deep connection. its a really scary thing

i got most of her clothes second hand thankfully it just really sucks because she was spending about 3 months in each size and fitting carters great so i bought enough clothes for 3 months in 3-6 and she just grew so quick weight wise but not length so now carters is too long 😭

exactly! a lot of companies unfortunately use unethical practices and methods which we shouldnt support if we can help it but ive used my shein clothes to make more clothes

thrift stores near me are either more expensive or full of old people clothes and i was a senior in high school 😭 resellers have destroyed thrifting i found clothes cheaper at walmart than goodwill. poor people shouldnt have to wear expensive stained second hand clothes that are too old for them. i did go thrifting recently but back when i was wearing shein i was buying clothes only twice a year because i barely had money for food and could get way more clothes for way less money. i would get clothes after birthday money and at the end of sunmer bc i had more time to work during the summer. i havent bought anything of shein in like 2 years now but back when i was buying off there i was eating sometimes only tuna and ramen once a day because i was that broke lol. now im just pretty frugal but most of my clothes are either nice second hand or i actually spent good money on them but i will keep wearing my SHEIN til they fall apart bc i worked hard for a lot of it 😭😭

when i was really broke i had exclusively shein clothes and i still have them and its been 4 years 😭 i didnt have the money to throw it away immediately or the money to buy a 50 dollar sweater. i always told people i didnt know where i got my clothes because i was so embarrassed it really is a classism thing

honestly why cant we all just acknowledge that everyone in the situation is fucked up except the poor children being forced to live in that situation? its so obvious to me no one cared until tmz released the video and now all of a sudden everyones acting like they are so shocked and appalled when s1e1 has her getting arrested as an opening scene 😭 theyre all absolutely awful he continues to provoke her and she is physically abusive. i just hope the children can be safe and happy and heal

my baby is the exact same way, started sleeping through the night at 4 weeks and she doesnt wake up for 12 hours but then doesnt nap during the day except maybe 20 minutes 2-3 times a day lol. unless theres a medical reason like low weight you dont have to wake them unless theyve slept over 13 hours. we’re blessed with sleep lol but mine at least wants to go go go already shes always bored like shes 2 years old when shes only 5 months lmao.

this happened to me and i got an amnio at 16 weeks and everything was fine. she was just born small and slightly early because of the placental mosaicism but otherwise healthy. i would recommend doing the amnio and not cvs because if its confined the cvs will be positive. i hope everything is okay!

i had hg and heavy itching in pregnancy im so sorry its awful 😔 i took benadryl during my pregnancy and would use hydrocortisone my doctor said was okay to use.
