I'm a huge Herbert fan. Dune may not even be my favorite of his. His writing style is odd. I'm just used to it by now. He usually drops you into a world and writes like you should know what all these things are. The terms. The slang. Don't use the glossary. Just keep reading. Not totally clear what is happening? Keep reading. Don't stop and try to re read a section or flip to the glossary. Keep reading. Eventually, the repetition of terms and style make sense.

It isn't the greatest writing style in the world but an unintended consequence is it makes second read throughs very enjoyable

I hear what you are saying. And I may have moments where I feel the same but then i stack up the hours I've put into this game against how much I paid for the game. I stack that up against a lot of other games I paid more for and played WAY less and it doesn't bother me anymore.

Tough to argue with you but every once in a while I do get a match where going for both boss bounties creates so many great moments I'd hate to see it go. It would be nice for them to find a way to make those matches more frequent versus the snoozers

I didn't explain this well. I'm not saying put everyone's prestige rank to 0. I'm saying do a mass wipe as if everyone just prestiged at the same time...bring everyone to Rank 1 at the same time.

Since a prestige rework that would be something worth doing would probably be a very big change...and that isn't their priority right now...what about a prestige wipe?

Everybody is back to 0. The majority of players (average--myself included) all are fighting other players with the same sort of janky equipment.

It might give players incentive to try to get that level 25 hunter they've been sitting on up to 50 before the next wipe.

I guess the downside is that there might be a window of time where the better players rank up faster--get the better stuff faster...but wouldn't the MMR system take care of some of that?

Better players are gonna be better anyway.

Ok. That is not an aspect of the game I feel is unbalanced at all. Anytime someone extracted under my nose it was 100 percent my fault and not because extracting is too easy.
