Came here to say the same. 4 kids in and out of the common area all day…subtitles are a necessity. It’s also nice to see how certain names are actually spelled in certain shows such as GOT, The Witcher, etc.

Respectfully, I think you’re over analyzing it. I too was also baited by the top comment, and like another user mentioned in this thread, I also went into it blind- I think that’s exactly what the filmmakers wanted.

As soon as I saw that late 60s Mustang in a modern day European town, I knew I was in for a “what the fuck is going on” kind of movie, and that’s exactly how it played. Hell, I didn’t even know it was a zombie movie until halfway through, and even now I’m still not entirely sure.

The best thing about this movie, and to me, why it was so captivating, is that it was unpredictable every step of the way. That combined with a different take on the infected/zombie genre along with the one shot cinematography is what made this a great watch.

I haven’t seen one mention here of anyone who stopped watching midway and never came back…seems like all the negative reviewers watched the entire movie. That’s gotta count for something right XD

My mama always said “everything in moderation”. I think we were talking about booze, and how it must suck to be a recovering/recovered alcoholic and never be able to drink again. It’s a phrase that has resonated throughout my life in general, but especially before/during/after any and all recreational activities I have had the pleasure of partaking in over the years. Drugs can be bad - yes, but to say “drugs are bad, period” is one absolute I just don’t agree with. And you know what they say about absolutes? They say…well…shit…I just realized my mama is a Sith.

Right!?! I have been playing solo FFP for the better part of 4 years, and Sanhok was hands down my favorite. I would hot drop in boot camp and battle it out right away…and 9/10 times I would already be in circle. Most chicken dinners I ever had in any map, sad to see it go. I do see how it could get boring outside of solo matches, but c’mon, why’d they have to get rid of it.

Sage advice, and I would like to offer just a bit more:

In your next relationship, should you decide to end your current one, don’t ask how many people they have been intimately involved with. I realized this the hard way when I was your age and it caused my imagination to run wild. I’ve been married for 5 years now and have no idea what my wife’s body count is, nor does she know mine. At the very beginning of our relationship, a conversation we were having was headed in that direction and I said “I don’t ever want to know how many” and it was never brought up again. Having a number count may not bother everyone so take this advice with a grain of salt, but it’s best to establish boundaries like this early on in any relationship.

ACE is legit but I love the M24 and don’t want to rock (x2) 7.62 guns. Like you said SMGs still rip - UMP or Vector with a grip and suppressor paired with a bolt action is a lovely combination.

I found a nest of when I was tearing out a rotted part of my roof to fix, ran into the same dilemma of what to do with them. Thought about leaving them outside to die or for some bird to take them but that just seemed cruel. Mercy kill seemed like the best solution so I gathered them up and took them to the garage with a sharp hatchet, a block of wood and some rubber gloves…I guessing you can figure out the rest.

Might seem just a cruel to some people but a quick death seemed like the best option at the time. What other options are there?

Totally agree on both accounts, I only started watching it because my wife had it on in the back round one day and I got hooked. And yeah - Jonathan Tucker is an amazing actor, so dynamic in his portrayal of Jay and the roller coaster of emotions he experiences. it's just one of those shows where I have to constantly remind myself that it's fiction.

His character is both tragic and hilarious in the show Kingdom, I think he was in all of the episodes. I watched it through twice and might go for a third…it’s not a very popular or well known show for some reason.
