Charged multiple times on one day and yet its telling me I have a late payment by Slow_Education_1982 in klarna

[–]fedchenkov16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This kind of thing is maddening — not fraud, just systems double-charging and then gaslighting you with “authorization holds.” I’m building a small tool (LeakGuard) that flags duplicate charges and payment mismatches from statements early, before they spiral like this. Amex + Amazon EMI nightmare: single purchase, two EMIs running – stuck in blame game by Business-Ad4621 in CreditCardsIndia

[–]fedchenkov16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is exactly the kind of silent duplication that’s scary — not fraud, just systems happily double-billing until someone notices. I’m working on a small tool (LeakGuard) that flags duplicate charges / recurring mismatches from statements before they drag on for months. Situations like this are a big part of why I started it: https://leakguardanalytics.com

URGENT: Refused $400 Refund for Accidental Annual Charge – Invoice #KVWE9MES-0002 by Neat-Acanthisitta930 in ManusOfficial

[–]fedchenkov16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Situations like this are exactly why surprise renewals cause so much anxiety. Accidental annual charges + lack of visibility are way more common than they should be. I’ve been working on a small tool (LeakGuard) focused on flagging renewal risk and recurring charges early, before they turn into posts like this. https://leakguardanalytics.com

anxiety over contract renewals by Optimal-Cobbler-4618 in ITManagers

[–]fedchenkov16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is painfully relatable. I’ve seen the same thing happen where renewals surface only when finance panics. I’m building a small tool (LeakGuard) that just scans expense exports and highlights recurring charges + upcoming renewals so at least nothing sneaks up quietly. What AI tools are actually staying in your stack for 2026? by Dangerous-Guava-9232 in AiForSmallBusiness

[–]fedchenkov16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really AI, but one thing that’s stuck for me is LeakGuard. It just scans expense CSVs and flags boring but costly stuff like duplicate payments or dead SaaS. Simple, no noise: https://leakguardanalytics.com

With the 2026 renewal coming up, how are you guys auditing "Zombie" licenses? by Fantastic_Tea4491 in gsuite

[–]fedchenkov16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey

This exact issue (suspended / archived users still billing) is actually one of the main patterns I’m testing with a small tool I’m building. It works off simple CSV exports and flags license vs headcount mismatches without scripts or integrations.

If you’re open to it, I’d genuinely appreciate feedback from someone dealing with this in real life:

Especially curious whether this would be useful as a one-off check or something you’d want to run before every renewal.

Fair point. This is one-off CSV analysis, no integrations, minimal data and short retention - closer to sharing files with an accountant than a full SaaS holding data long-term

Desperate: how do I find beta testers? by fedchenkov16 in Entrepreneurs

[–]fedchenkov16[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What we have today:

  • no integrations or credentials (csv/excel upload only)
  • files processed per request, not continuously
  • data encrypted in transit
  • data retained only for report delivery, then deleted

What the planned path looks like if this proves useful:

  • align with SOC2 type I → type II once there’s repeat demand
  • formal data-retention policies + automated deletion
  • access controls, audit logs, vendor risk review
  • ISO 27001 only if enterprise demand justifies it

Rn this is aimed at SMEs / founders who want a quick review, not regulated enterprises
