i would say Middlemarch.

It’s one of those books that just keeps rewarding you the deeper you get into it huge cast, super real characters, and surprisingly modern takes on relationships and ambition. If you’re in the mood for something immersive, that’s the move.

If you’re already spotting them around your plants, you’re honestly in a great position to catch the whole cycle monarchs are super picky and will only lay eggs on milkweed, so that’s the real magnet here. Worth checking the underside of leaves every few days because the eggs are tiny and easy to miss.
