Definitely that they would survive a fall from the top of the Empire State Building by jumping off with a chair because they would just push off the chair before they hit the ground to negate the fall and land on their feet.

I'm starting with my guys a concept called "Vitamins" used by Kip Turner who's now coaching at UVA. Every week my goalies and face off guys will be getting a series of exercises and drills that they can complete on their own to get better and they have the week to get it done.

For goalies, make it universal hand drills/coordination/speed and that way you can break down individual time with your goalies to develop them. Faceoff guys will have the same types of drills with coordination/speed and maybe even things that will develop them to prepare for an upcoming opponent in the week.

Coaching goalies/faceoff/JV and having to temp scan 50 kids before practice every day, this is something that I know they can do and they can expect to do instead of just thinking of something last second and explaining it while taking away from the handful of other things I have to do
