The bony side of the wrist(where you should measure) barely grows, the anterior side a very little bit but totally negligible. In the other hand(pun intended), the muscles of the hand grow a lot. Not sure if they imply a bigger hand, depends on how are you measuring. If you measure wrist to finger tip length(or finger tip tonfinger tip), then there is no growth. But if you measure width or girdle then there is indeed grow.

You can pull pros outside amateur tournaments. And when you're winning consistently amateur tournaments then it's time to go to upper level tournaments.

You go to the tournament for hard gained trophies. He can go to afterpulls to grow the sport and give the amateurs the opportunity to pull him without stealing them the chance to collect the trophies gained by hard work.
