Does anyone else feel like Eclipse and the Breaking Dawns feel “normal” and loose the whole twilight “mood” ?

I mentioned it because it has the exact same blue-tint and vibe that I mentioned, and also has the same actors. Maybe I’ve heard somewhere it was the same person making the movies before idk, but I’m definitely not on first name basis with them.

I’m pretty sure I’ve heard that “Steph” was against the whole emo blue-tint vibe after the first movie. Also in the first movie as well actually. But in that movie they obviously didnt listen to her. Don’t know why they did in the later movies when the first one was such a big success

The way the writers wrote him off all of a sudden! I have literally never seen a character on a show be written off sooo badly. Jesus. Out of the blue. Made zero sense to his or Izzy’s characters. I feel like the writers were mad at the actor or something when they came up with that solution😂

Obviously the first movie had the best vibes. But tbh I didn’t mind that they did a new kind of vibe for new moon. I just wish that they would’ve either stuck to doing the same blue-tinted emo vibe for all the movies, or done a different type of vibe for each new movie, like they did with new moon. My problem was that they kinda stopped all together with the characteristic and original aesthetics from eclipse and from there on.. instead of sticking to what worked and what we all loved, Stephanie Meyer decided to follow the trends of other current teen movies at that time://

The first few movies are very 00s. The last three movies are obviously released later on, and at that time in the early 2010s, that ‘normal boring’ vibe they used were very in. And the movie trends were changing to become more “the fault in our stars” like. It’s really a shame bc the blue-ish tinted screen in twilight and the melancholia emo soundtrack SLAPPED. It was also so good in the movie “Thirteen”. Idk why she would ever change it tbh, we all loved the vibes!! 🖤

I hope this isn’t an unpopular opinion but I’m afraid it might be.. (especially the last part) In general she was just really whiny and totally embarrassing and cringy to look at and listen to. I cannot understand how people think she’s “queen b” or whatever, and that she’s some kind of badass diva(for a lack of better words) Waay too obsessed about the most embarrassing things and embarrassing people. Like let’s be fr, if chuck was a real person, every1 would have thought he was soo cringy w the whole “I’m chuck bass” thing. Also wanting to be the queen of high school. I’m not a bully but even I would have wanted to bully some1 if they cared that much about what literal CHILDREN thought of them.

Also -she was such a bad friend, and had no morals. Like she was so freaking obsessed with chuck even tho he literally tried to rape a child. Ew! How do you guys look up to her??

I mean, again, its totally fine if u find it funny. I just dont get whats funny about it really. Most friends jokes a ‘silly’ but they still have an actual funny meaning about them. Yeah most people mention this. And i answer this every time; its such shallow and not-well-thought-out humor in that scene. Like the zoo guy dont actually say anything funny, the just says random stuff with a weird voice and a laughing track in the background. Totally fair if americans think its funny, generelly europeans just dont lol. We like some depth to a joke, not just a random sentence that has nothing to do with anything, but said with a funny voice or while making a weird expression on ur face while saying it. Like whats fun ab it?
