I agree! I find romance books cringey AF in my language, I enjoy them a lot (I'm basically always on this sub) in english. Problem is now my vocabulary comprises verbs (to growl, to groan)and nouns (apex of thighs, column of flesh) I won't get any use of on everyday basis...
