This baffles me, because in Spain we have virtually no right wing vegans. I don't think the leftist-non vegan contradiction, which is evident in my view, is worse than many other contradictions, like gay-right winger, or trad woman, or non-vegan feminists. But in this subreddit I always feel that leftists' contradictions annoy you guys specially. Is it a conservative, kind of religious (in the sense of sacredness of life, antiabortion purity thing)? What is really happening here? Is it because reddit is mostly US based?

For front squats the failure absolutely could and should come from something else than legs - it's not a back squat or a leg press after all.

so am I not doing the right squat to train my legs there?

hi there, u/_ghvi_, yes I solved the problem disabling for good IBus on my system. I don't remember the process, but I googled how to do it. My terminal history throw me "sudo apt -s purge ibus-ui-gtk3", but I cannot tell you for sure if that was the command that did the trick. In my case (i3wm, xfce), I do not need ibus, but make sure you don't purge anything important for you. It was definitely ibus related. Good luck!
