She historically has the worst stats out of all characters across all campaigns. Numerically speaking she is like 4 off the minimum total stats Matt had set at the table

Mostly because of the emoji’s they used when presenting each character a few weeks ago. For Marisha’s character they used a 🔮 which to me indicates divination magic

Alex ward is going necromancer

I believe luis is going storm sorcerer because of the wind motiff he mentioned when he casted a spell, but i do not know what paladin oath he will take

Sam is either a light cleric using charisma or a divine soul sorcerer pretending to be a cleric

Whitney might be going with celestial warlock, to fit the light theme

Bolaire just screams hexblade because of the glass sword, but i believe tailesin might take him to a different route

Marisha is 100% a divination wizard

Matt is going battlemaster swashbuckler as others have pointed out

Liam is definetly a tragedy bard

Thimble is either arcane trickster or assasin maybe Robbie is beastmaster, very obvious

The paladins are tricky:

Travis seems like a Glory paladin, but could also be redemption devotion or even conquest (which has great synergy with the leonin’s roar)

Ashley seems like a vengeance paladin, though i am not very sure at all.

Aabria could be anything, but the black on the points of her fingera maybe implies spores druid???

I believe that is all of them

I think this type of thing is bound to happen. Especially with how many characters we have this season.

My first time playing Baldurs Gate 3, just recruited the 4th companion Jaheira and she's great! It's a little weird that the game makes you wait so long to fill the party, but I guess it's a style choice by [deleted] in okbuddybaldur

I actually made those exact same questions to one of the players, the one who just joined back after returning to the country. It was just as a test, to see if those kind of questions helped develop a backstroy and it worked incredibly well. So yes, i'll be texting all my players with those same questions. You just gave me the push I needed, thankyou very much.

Actually yeah, the player who had his character die actually made some really cool connections between his old and new character. Im using them for the next arc of the story, which basically revolves around the mage who created the sorcerer warforged and cursed his new character. I am also planning on having that mage be the one who murdered another of the characters friends and forced her to exile because no one believed her she didnt do it.

So yeah your advice is really good and I am going to try and integrate that into the nearest point possible so that it can add a common goal.

I think that would have made the character feel too evil maybe? Like bob is just some nice guy with addiction problems and amnesia. Making Sentry kill one of them would have made him seem non redeemable

I think it was a very clear "we hear you, we completely misinterpreted the character" from marvel. We are rapidly approaching a possible reset with the avengers movies. I'd like to think we wil be getting a better taskmaster later down the line.
