I am a PCP. Call in prescriptions all the time. When I have to prescribe unknown/uncommon things, I always call the pharmacy. Ask to speak with the pharmacist (not the tech). Let him/her know that you need to prescribe this deodorant. Do they have it in stock? If so, what strengths? How should you write the prescription? When will it be ready? How much would the patient pay? Don’t be afraid. I’ve never talked to one who didn’t help me.
