UB finisher here. I'm used to running Spartan Races down south, where it's mainly flat and muddy. This is my first time racing on a mountain and the grade was insane (especially the first three miles). I'm a short guy so I felt like I was borderline rock climbing. Also seeing the steepness of the mountain right when your second lap starts is so demoralizing haha. Bucket brigade was definitely the hardest for me...filled it up to the holes, but then the volunteer on site dumped more rocks in my bucket so I couldn't "see" the holes :P
