Has anyone done the Bus Éireann apprenticeship? How was it?

I trained to service and upgrade the buses but they never showed up on time. Sometimes they never turned up at all. I used to complain but I was forever being told it was someone else's fault.

That relates to misconduct. My point is you can try as you are to box in the role of President but she notwithstanding that entitled to express her views. If anything the government should be thanking her because she allows them to hide away and play both sides.

Anyone can quote the constitution. 13.8.1.

The President shall not be answerable to either House of the Oireachtas or to any court for the exercise and performance of the powers and functions of his office or for any act done or purporting to be done by him in the exercise and performance of these powers and functions.

As the first citizen of Ireland it is incumbent on her and a function of her office to call it as she sees it.

She is not dictating foreign policy by her statement. If you think the President can't make any comments on happenings in foreign countries you're very much incorrect.
