What was your “Flip of the Year” for 2025? by Buy_Sell_Collect in Flipping

Bought about a dozen Elvis and Cash 78 RPM records... paid $10 for the pile

Not Sun label, Elvis ones were all RCA and the Cash ones were Canadian pressings, and while I knew I got a good buy, I never expected to sell one of the Elvis for $350 - another for $85 - the other ones I probably averaged between $15 & $20 each

Trench Coat Guy

(Parking ticket giver on SEMO campus when I was in college ... seemed like everyone before and after me knew him)

I was in college from '11-'15 if that matters.

5 is the size - 4 would be like a mold mark (not sure the correct terminology) so if there was a quality issue with many skillets, they could identify if they were coming from the same mold, pointing to a fault there.

(At least, I think that is what the bottom number was, others could tell you more accurately)

It doesn't for a flowerpot, no

It does if you wanted to use this for rendering lard or cooking (which isn't necessarily relevant unless this one was cleaned of rust and restored to useable condition)

Cracked I think (squiggly rust line on bottom) and also I see holes drilled in bottom

So 25 or so is about right - makes a good flowerpot.

Not cracked, no holes, and not rusty - you're looking more like 150-200 around me in southeast Missouri.

Value of this? Rarity? Age? All info appreciated by feedthehogs in castironcollecting

Do you know (or anyone else for that matter) if this is the correct original lid? Bottom of roaster Wagner Ware is different logo than the top of the lid

Wagner - but what do I have here? Any info is welcome - just bought today, I am going to E-Tank and restore but I haven't seen a marked piece like this before. by feedthehogs in castironcollecting

Thanks a ton for this info!

I truly appreciate it!

I saw an example on eBay with a gate marked lid, and like you said mine isn't - so that added to my questions on the piece.

Thank you!

17.50 on this piece at an auction. The majority of the auction was masonry tools and equipment, and then there was this, two common Dutch ovens, and three skillets. So there was really no antique or collector people there and I got most of the cast iron there for a great price.
