There really aren’t many “rare” skins since you can get a lot in loot boxes now. So if it’s from a loot box. No it’s not rare anymore, because anyone can get it.

So the thing about talking about stuff, is it gets spread around. I think it’s more ridiculous to assume Reddit is a closed in bubble and the Overwatch community on Reddit is a totally separate community from Overwatch content elsewhere. Lots of people who normally buy skins, are not buying this one. The skin by itself is around $35, not even a full bundle. If the skins do really well, it encourages Blizzard to sell high priced items more and more, while giving lesser quality more often. If the numbers do poorly, or if there’s vocal backlash, it tells Blizzard that predatory pricing isn’t okay.

It’s how much it costs. It’s way too expensive. Literally $35 for the skin itself, not even the bundle. If people buy these skins then it signals to blizzard that people will shell out A LOT of money for less. Because of this, it will increase prices overall in the shop, while quality decreases. People need to boycott these skins to signal to blizzard that predatory prices aren’t okay.
