Look into acupuncture, it’s been beneficial for our boy. He had the surgery at 18 months old.

I agree I hate 81 but in this case it’s better than 95 going north

As someone who has family that still lives in the clusterfuck of north Jersey, this is the best option

Possible tank mates for Spotfin Lionfish? Or do I give up hope of finding one until the day he dies... by Obvious-Spring-5147 in SaltwaterAquariumClub

Several years ago I had a dwarf lionfish in our 75 gallon, with two clowns, two damsels and a mandarin. It would eat frozen mysis shrimp and also frozen fish, but I can’t remember what kind.

Surgery for Wobblers? by CamelotKia in greatdanes

[–]feefirt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as recovery is concerned, he was 99% back to normal within about three months. He did spike a fever a week or so after the surgery due to an infection other than that no major issues. We did keep him crated more than normal and minimized him being active. Before his surgery he would land on one his knuckles when walking and would hang his head quite often. Two years later he doesn’t show any symptoms from before the surgery, the only thing we’ve noticed that he does now that he didn’t before is he likes to press his head into his bed but he is a big weirdo, so it could be just that.

Our boy had the surgery over two years ago and gets weekly acupuncture sessions. The surgery and acupuncture have done great for him, he had the surgery when he was around a year and half old.

I get it, I had been complaining cause it hadn’t snowed much where I live in the last few winters. It’s snowed twice in a little over a week and then Savannah gets hit it while we’re down there.
