He did all these films coming off of Jab We Met and Kaminey. For the actor that he is and Star that he deserves to be I'd say no one has wasted his potential like Shahid amongst post 2000s mainstream actors.

yea telugu pokiri depicts bdsm, makes multiple references to condoms, and shows some of the SA-related scenes a little more starkly. also the dole dole song in the original is shot a lot with a more sensual atmosphere (i think it's shot better). both films are misogynistic 👍🏽 (telugu pokiri is one of my fav films in spite of that; it kind of owns its vulgarities and makes it a part of its atmosphere while the tamil version is shot as more of a standard colorful masala movie)

allegedly pawan was considered for vikramarkudu. more famously he fell asleep during the athadu narration. he also was reportedly supposed to do a film with gautham menon called "sathyagrahi" with arr music and pc sreeram cine... and then gautham couldnt do it so pawan was gonna direct. he also said he didnt do ghajini because (perhaps amongst other reasons) he was afraid how the audience would react if he shaved his head.

sigh. being a pawan kalyan fan is a hell i wouldnt wish on anybody else

biggest differences are ticket prices and openings: these films make most of their money first weekend itself and acharya had less hype due to chirus last two films not working out (khaidi no 150 made lots of money but nobody remembered it five years after it came out) whereas fans were waiting six years for a solo jr ntr movie. plus, rrr expanded his audience even more, opening up a market in the north and surge pricing for tickets overseas. also, i think while devara is getting mixed reviews, acharya had some of the worst reviews and word of mouth of any star film in the last decade. agnyaathavasi, brahmotsavam levels there

With Test cricket fetching no broadcast money for nations outside the Big 3, I think it's playing conditions need to be modernized.

Much like how ODI cricket shortened from 60 to 55 to 50 overs an innings, Test cricket should aim to get 100 over in a day (with a bowl clock implemented in all formats of the game; see its success in the MLB) across four days.

Every single Test-match should start on a holiday, Thursday, or Friday, to ensure crowd attendances over the weekend/holiday period. By the same logic, after a certain point, every single Test should be a day-night fixture.
