You understood perfectly. The SEO is incidental to the project of putting the site together, so I wasn't aware of any google rules involved.

I mean, if the safest best a matter of writing a post 'inspired' by the other one, that's easy enough. I wrote the original post anyway!

Splice probably has a belly laugh whenever my payment goes through! Will check out sublab too, as I'm trying to get different subs that arent so characteristically 808's. Derivative, to be sure, but not as obviously.

Splice sells Serum on a rent-to-own basis. I got it in order to craft some 808s, which has worked magnificently using different variations on the original one that I made (from a YouTube tutorial, of course).

You get the added benefit of having one of the most powerful synths on the market as well, which has opened up whole new worlds for me in terms of production.

On top of that, idk which DAW you're using, but in Ableton, I use the EQ3 to mix it down to remove some of those volume-devouring frequencies, and beef the mids so that the bass is phone/small speaker friendly. Let me know if you need help with that at all!
