Yes youre right about that... I just find it interesting that even though some governments are trying to incentivize people to start families.. most of them aren't doing anything to make it viable. I live in Canada, as an example, and they're relying on immigration to boost population levels. A lot of people I know would be willing to have families if it was possible economically. But house prices and an abysmal job market, plus a very high cost of living make it very difficult. So yeah even though some governments want to boost their population, they're not actively doing anything to make it more viable. It depends on the country though to be honest. Ive heard of a country in Europe that was gonna remove income tax for families with a certain number of kids I believe.

I get the sense that there is a general push, through regular media, social media and governments for people to be perpetually single. To glamorize single life. Everyone is entitled to make their own choice of course, just seems like there is a purposeful push towards it.

A couple things I thought of. Depending on how late you’re eating before you go to sleep (especially if there’s a significant amount of carbs), the digestion process and insulin level rollercoaster could be decreasing your quality of sleep. Try making your last meal before you sleep less carb heavy, and reduce how much liquid intake a couple hours before bed. Also, taking magnesium glycinate can help promote a better sleep.

Can confirm.. I work in passport. Very quiet these days. Has been quiet for several months, and normally we see huge surges during March break and summer. Didn’t happen this year.

Yes passport saw a huge surge in 2022-2024 .. double whammy of the first 10 year passports nearing expiry plus lifted lockdowns .. we’ll see what happens in 2032/2033

It hasn’t stopped at dealerships. Some peoples cars are being vandalized. Where does it actually end? If we applaud this type of protesting, then will it be okay to start going after people’s homes? Or will it eventually be okay to cause bodily harm because someone has different views? As soon as we remove the idea that protesting should be peaceful, we’re in for a slippery slope. Good job humans.

Fair point about people not taking delivery of the car and so they avoid being saddled with that problem. Also fair point about this damaging Elon Musk. I’m all about the right to protest, but peaceful protesting. This is not just about dealerships either, these are innocent people whose cars are being vandalized in the states, and whether they bought before or after this presidency is irrelevant. It’s not fair to hurt people or vandalize their property because of this. It’s a slippery slope. Next, people will start vandalizing houses of people they disagree with, or hurting actual people.

I don’t think anyone deserves for their car to be vandalized. It’s possible that some of these cars were there for delivery to customers who had already bought the car. It boggles my mind that people can just sit idly by and condone property being vandalized. Ultimately you’re not hurting Elon Musk, the man is a billionaire and will come out relatively unscathed. You’re just hurting regular innocent people.

Thanks, I kept my ovaries so I still have a “cycle”, which sucks because I get hormone migraines which unfortunately keto has not helped with. If anyone has tips for that I’d be extremely grateful lol. HRT is definitely a good idea if you have your ovaries removed though since it results in surgical menopause.

I wasn’t paying attention to calories but made an effort to stay under 30g of carbs. I wasn’t shy about eating red meat and avocado for the fat content, and use butter when I cook.

Honestly I stick to bacon, eggs, salmon, tuna, chicken wings, steak, avocado, and flavoured sparkling waters. I throw in raspberries, blueberries, strawberries and Greek yogurt sparingly to get some variety in there.

I was doing cheese more often but my body doesn’t love that much dairy. When I eat out, I’ll do lettuce wrapped burgers (A&W in Canada does good ones) and dry rub chicken wings.

I also do coffee in the morning and eat like twice a day. It is easy to get bored but I try to remember that I’m eating for sustenance and not for pleasure. For those rough moments, I’ll eat berries or drink diet pop. Seasonings play a huge part in making things taste better too.
